Radio host DJ Tony Toni shared on Instagram the photo of the aerial view of the "stable, peaceful" Taal Volcano hours before its phreatic eruption.

On Monday, January 13, Magic 89.9's DJ Tony Toni shared on Instagram the photo of the aerial view of the seemingly "stable, peaceful" Taal Volcano hours before its phreatic eruption Sunday afternoon. He was on board an airplane when he captured the photo.

Flew over Taal on a lazy Sunday Morning just a few hours before it began to first emit smoke. Looks stable, peaceful but this is one of the lowest & deadliest Volcanoes 🌋 This is the first time Taal Volcano erupted since 1977 at Mt Tabaro. Try to relocate as far from Taal & Stay indoors. Make sure to cover your nose/mouth with a damp towel & if you have pets or livestock pls don't forget about them! Alert 🚨 Level 4 Praying for everyone's safety 🙏🏿 1.12.2020 . . .
